Bike Lab is a social enterprise that elevates the bicycle culture. Bike Lab promotes bicycling as a means of recreation, health, transportation, expression, and fun. We create space to convene, create, build, and ride.

 

Wow, what a year 2025 has been.

• Over 30 Bike Labs - fixed over 600 bikes!

• 20 refurbished bikes provided to those in need of some wheels.

• 12 community rides - good peeps, good vibes, and good times.

• Two truly incredible interns - you know who you are. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience working with and training you to be apprentice bike mechanics.

• One Week-long Recreate for Health camp that included bike rides (of course), a bike park, build-a-bike, playtime in parks, nature hikes, and paddle boarding at Folsom Lake.

• A Bike Rodeo at the City of Rancho Cordova with a Sacramento Children's Museum art station, mechanics workshop, and obstacle course. 

• Ad hoc events with bike etiquette/safety and mechanics training.
